Yeah I’ve noticed this in my third Thor viewing, and yes I am sure it is intentional since Marvel’s Thor debuted in Journey Into Mystery #83 and then he pretty much took over the comic title (which later on was renamed to Thor and then way later went back to being the JiM that we know and love).Why was/is the comic called Journey Into Mystery? Because JiM started as a horror-fantasy comic made by Atlas Comics (Marvel before it was called Marvel Comics) and it had a very different tone to the Thor comics (although horror does tend to creep its way into Thor stories nowadays).
